Ensure you have Admin privileges within your Envoy organization.
If you’ve been directed to StackOne to integrate with Envoy, the following steps will help you understand the process and any necessary actions to configure successful integration. This guidance assumes that you are an Admin within Envoy.

Get Your Envoy API Key

This connection will be authenticated on behalf of a private app you will create in your Envoy account.

Log in to Envoy

Log in to your Envoy Account and navigate to the Dev Dashboard by clicking Apps > Dev Dashboard on the left.

Create a New App

Click the Create New button in the top right to create the new App.

Enter App Details

Under Create App, enter the required fields:
  • Name
  • API Scopes: employees.read
All other fields under Details are optional. Leave the options unchecked under Where will customer install your app? When done, click the Save button.

Copy API Key

Copy the displayed Client API Key and store it safely.

Connecting with StackOne

Enter API Key

Upon reaching the Link Account page, enter your API Key from the previous step.

Connect

Proceed by clicking the Connect button.
